A Long-Term Relationship (LTR) is a relationship that lasts a long time, especially with those who are planning to live together, are considering to be exclusive with each other, or are possibly considering to marry. For men, the sex gets boring due to low perceived mutual attraction[ext] and sexual variety.
However, this term may be a misnomer. Having casual sex once so often with a "friend" may be considered "long term" yet the relationship isn't a serious committed one.
