Subordination
Subordination means to be subject to the orders[wp] or direction of another; to be of lower rank[wp] in a hierarchy[wp]. Such a person is called a subordinate.
Subordination is also the act of being properly obedient to a superior. Failure to be obedient (e.g. in the military[wp]) is called insubordination[wp], and usually constitutes a punishable offense.
Body language
Subordination (and the willingness to be obedient) can be displayed by respectful/submissive body gestures, such as formal saluting, the bow, curtsey, kneeling or prostration, a reverential or submissive body position.
