Kitchen bitch is a disparaging term used for house husbands. It was coined by Atlantic journalist Sandra Tsing Loh in an article about her divorce (initiated by her).[1] Later, Hanna Rosin bemoaned changing gender roles in her article "The rise of the kitchen bitch".[2] In other words: Some decades after Betty Friedan and other feminists cried about women unfairly restricted to the kitchen, modern feminists want the kitchen back.[3]
