The disposable man ...
This is the end of me I thought as the started to go down into the icy water. The life rafts were first filling up with the women and children, and I assumed I going to die on this ship. A flash temporary blinded and I saw that I was wearing a women's bikini. Womanhood was my salvation, and allowed me to escape. As a man I was disposable, and expected to save others. As woman I was viewed as something worthy savings.
