Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson (* 1990) ist eine britische Schauspielerin und Model. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Rolle als Hermine Granger in den Verfilmungen der Harry-Potter-Romane^[wp] von J. K. Rowling^[wp].

In einer Rede vor den Vereinten Nationen hat Emma Watson klargestellt, dass sie nicht möchte, dass feminism mit misandry in Verbindung gebracht wird. Sie startete eine Kampagne für mehr equality von Männern und Frauen. Unter dem Hashtag #HeForShe bringen nun zahlreiche Stars ihre Unterstützung für die Kampagne auf Twitter zum Ausdruck.

In a speech before the United Nations Emma Watson she has made it clear that she does not want feminism be associated with misandry. They launched a campaign for greater equality between men and women. Under the hashtag #HeForShe now many stars express their support for the campaign on Twitter.

Es ist naiv zu glauben, dass die Figur der klugen, besonnenen und immer ein bisschen rechthaberischen Freundin von Harry Potter auf Emma Watson abgefärbt hätte. Einmal mehr zeigt sich, dass im Film gezeigte kluge Maiden in der Realität doch nur dumme Weiber sind. Eigentlich schade. Denn wenn es ein Vorurteil ist, so wurde es von Emma Watson wieder eindrucksvoll bestätigt. Man hat sie an ihrer Eitelkeit gepackt und so durfte sie vor den Vereinten Nationen als Nützliche Idiotin eine Rede halten.

It is naive to believe that the figure of the wise, prudent and always a bit opinionated friend of Harry Potter Emma Watson would have rubbed off. Once again showing that shown in the film wise Maiden in reality but only stupid women are. What a pity. Because if there is a prejudice, it was impressively confirmed by Emma Watson again. They were packed to their vanity and they could deliver a speech before the United Nations as a useful idiot.
