Femispeak

Femispeak is a portmanteau formed from the term "feminism" and "newspeak", a term from the novel "Nineteen Eighty-Four"^[wp] by George Orwell^[wp], in which the dystopia^[wp] of a totalitarian state surveillance and prevention is presented in 1984. One also speaks of feminized language.

Femisprech referred to pejoratively the politically correct language rules of feminism, such as substitution of generic masculine terms with sexist female form, but also the links of woman with victims and men with oppressor.
