The Social and Sexual Hierarchy
Archetypes
Alpha	The self-assured leader of men whose swagger and aloofness makes him very successful with women.
Sigma	The Lone Wolf antithesis of the Alpha. Defies placement in the social hierarcy and yet is successful with women.
Beta	The worker bees of society. Women will tolerate them if they have ample resource, otherwise they are discarded.
Gamma	Gammas are bitter or clueless about women. Often they can't grasp Red Pill concepts and check out of the mating game.
Omega	The hopeless. Omegas are correlated with violent outbursts like shooting sprees because of their total rejection by women.
Further types
Delta	The normal guy. Deltas are the great majority of men.
Lambda	Those men who have quite literally no interest in conventional male-female sexual relations.
Zeta	Refers to a perspective and way of being male that positions itself outside of the usual hierarchical model of masculinity based on Alpha male (top), Beta male (second) and Omega male (lowest).

An omega male is at the bottom extreme of the socio-sexual hierarchy^[kw]. He is a "below average frustrated chump". Women would prefer to be single than with an omega male:

Omegas are men who can't get laid. Omegas are repulsive not just sexually but are a reflection of dark days for women. Most modern women has thrown herself at some retreating alpha, offering up her body as a salve to a failing relationship. Deep down, they know they spend way too many resources - emotional, financial and temporal - trying to keep said man around.

This is applicable to omegas because the rank desperation reminds them how unattainable alphas often are for them - omegas sometimes are a reflection of a woman's position vis-a-vis alphas. Further, they remind women of the lengths they would go for alpha approval by the lengths omegas will go to secure female approval.

An omega male no prospects whatsoever of getting laid. Omegas are below alphas, betas, and every other rung on the imaginary sexual hierarchy^[rw].

"Omega" is occasionally used as a term of pride by PUAs to glorify their technique. According to these males, they are not "alphas" because they are not heavily muscled jocks, but they can nevertheless get sex from females through their game^[kw] techniques; that is to say, their game supposedly transcends their alleged physical unattractiveness. Of course, a more likely explanation of this phenomenon is that, contrary to manospheric beliefs, different females are attracted to different types of males.
